ABOUT ME:

Coach Hunnicutt attended Pepperell High School where he participated in football, baseball, basketball, and wrestling. He graduated with high honors, magna cum laude, from PHS in 1996. He accepted a scholarship to Tennessee Technological University, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in  Health and Physical Education. 

Coach Hunnicutt began his coaching career at Tennessee Tech as a Student Assistant in 2000. He is beginning is 23rd year as an educator in Geogia. He has served as the defensive coordinator in Floyd County for both Coosa and Pepperell High Schools.  Most recently Coach Hunnicutt coached at Cartersville High School as a linebacker coach.  He is the Head Football coach for Model High School.

Coach Hunnicutt married the beautiful Mary Annaleigh Pannell in the summer of 2003. Six years later they were blessed with an amazing baby girl, Emma Leigh.
