Hey, 4th Graders! I am so excited to be your new writing teacher this year!
This is my 16th year teaching. Previously I taught 1st Grade at Cleburne County Elementary School in Heflin, AL, 4th Grade at North Heights Elementary School in Rome, 9th-12th math at Coosa High School in Rome, 11th-12th math at the Floyd County Schools College and Career Academy in Rome, and this is my 3rd year at Johnson, where I have taught two years of 2nd Grade and am now teaching 4th Grade. I can’t wait to see some familiar faces and to meet some new ones this year!
Education: I graduated from Jacksonville State University in 2007. I am certified to teach elementary, middle, and high school (math) grades. I have also earned my Gifted and Reading Endorsements while in the classroom.
