Welcome to the Wild West Corral! My name is Hollie West and my trusty assistants are Christi Hughes and Sonia Tharp. Our goal is to guide our students towards success in life skills and learning. We want our students to have emotional and social well-being, to be able to make good choices, and to learn how to live independently.

This is my second career. I was a professional photographer who made children smile for a nice picture. I switched careers in 2005 and I now have been a teacher for almost 18 years. I still want to make students smile; however this time for making them proud they are having success in our classroom. Throughout the years I have continued to be a lifetime learner and have an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I love my job and the wonderful children we are lucky to have for at least three years. I plan to continue teaching for many years to come.
