Meet Your Teacher!

Hello, my name is Heather Davis. I am so happy to be an educator for Floyd County Schools. I have a Bachelor's Degree in General Education, Master's Degree in Literacy, and a Specialist Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been teaching for 18 years. I taught for 9 years in New York and this will be my 11 year here in Georgia. For 14 years I taught Pre-K. I was named Pre-K Teacher of the Year for the state of Georgia 2020-2021. It was such an amazing honor! This is my second year teaching second grade and I couldn't be happier!

I will be married for two years this coming October. My husband and I had our dream home built in the Armuchee community last August. I am looking forward to a great school year!
