Meet Your Teacher!

Hello, my name is Heather Davis. I am so happy to be an educator for Floyd County Schools. I have a Bachelor's Degree in General Education, Master's Degree in Literacy, and a Specialist Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been teaching for 18 years. I taught for 7 years in New York and this will be my 11 year here in Georgia. For 14 years of my career, I taught Pre-K. I was named Pre-K Teacher of the Year for the state of Georgia (2020-2021). It was such an amazing honor! This will be my third year teaching second grade and I couldn't be happier! 😁

I will be married for three years this coming October. I have two step-daughters, Mailey- 22 and Khloe- 20, and a sweet fur-baby- Lulu, she will be one on August 17th.🥳 My husband and I had our dream home built in the Armuchee community in 2024. 💙
