Allie Garab is a Registered Nurse and healthcare science educator with a passion for helping students discover their potential in the healthcare field. Her healthcare journey began working as both a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and phlebotomist, where she gained valuable hands-on experience in patient care and developed an early appreciation for the importance of compassion, communication, and professionalism in healthcare.

She continued her education and eventually earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and became a Registered Nurse (RN). Having personally grown from entry-level healthcare roles into professional nursing, Mrs. Garab brings a unique perspective to the classroom. She understands firsthand that there are many different pathways into healthcare and enjoys helping students discover which path may be right for them.

As a high school healthcare science educator, Mrs. Garab brings real-world clinical experience into the classroom through hands-on learning and practical application. She strives to create an environment where students feel supported, challenged, and excited about their futures. Her goal is to help students develop not only healthcare knowledge and technical skills, but also the professionalism, compassion, critical thinking, and confidence needed to care for others.

Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Garab enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. As part of a military family, she has had the opportunity to experience different communities before returning home to Georgia.
