Head Coach

Coach Nichols is going into his fifth year of coaching cross country and fourth year of coaching swim. He has been part of the sport of swimming for several years by watching his daughters compete in the sport. His experience in working with athletes from different sports makes him a huge asset to the coaching staff, and he is ready for another great season of swimming again this year!

Assistant Coach

Coach Woodall has been part of the sport of swimming for several years. In high school, Coach Woodall swam for Cartersville High. Coach Woodall began teaching in Floyd County Schools in 2025 and is super excited to be contributing to the swim team coaching staff this year. 

Community Coach

Coach Emmer has been part of the sport of swimming for almost 14 years. He started coaching beginner swimmers while he was in high school and then reconnected with the sport when he began contributing as a community coach for FCS. The coaching staff is happy to have Coach Emmer volunteer his time to help build the program! 

Beka Nichols

Mrs. Nichols has been a part of the sport of swimming for several years as a parent. This year, she will be helping the coaching staff with fundraising, news and updates, and logistics.
