Step 1: Quick Guides and Stage Indicators: In this folder you will read the Stage Indicators, the quick guides for K-2 [JAM quick guide] and/or the quick guide for Grades 3-8 GloSS. Print the quick guide you will need for quick access!
Step 2: Diagnostic Assessments [JAM and GLoSS] for Tier Three Math Intervention: Inside this folder you will find all testing materials. Each school [K-5] was given a folder for each math teacher containing one copy of the JAM and one copy of the GloSS . Basic manipulatives of two color counters or linking cubes may be used for all activities [as indicated in the teacher directions inside the test]. JAM Recording Sheet Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade GloSS Grades 3-5 GloSS Grades 6-8
Step 3: Intervention Guides and Progress Monitoring: Once you have established a student's mathematical stage, use these intervention guides and progress monitoring sheets [complete with diagnostic snapshots, linked intervention activities, and a data collection form with a self-generating graph] as you work with your student(s). NOTE: The GADOE Numeracy Intervention Instrument [editable version for data collection]Numeracy Intervention Instrument} along with Key Ideas/Stages may be used to progress monitor students. Graphs may be created using the data sheet on the FCS Progress Monitoring sheets [linked above] or on the GADOE Progress Monitoring Template .
