About Coach Cagle:

Hi, I'm Coach Ethan Cagle,

I am a 2010  graduate of Model High School.  I started my college career at Georgia Highlands College in 2010, before transferring to Kennesaw State University in the Fall of 2013. In Spring 2017 I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education. This school year is my seventh year working for the Floyd County School system. In my first year, I served as a self-contained paraprofessional at McHenry Primary. I would spend the next 5 years in the Armuchee Community serving as a special education teacher for the 6th and 8th Grades at Armuchee Middle and Armuchee High School. I will be going into my 6th year as a special education teacher, but my first year at Coosa High School. I have coached a variety of different sports in my college and teaching career (Football, Wrestling, Basketball, Soccer, etc..) This year I will be an Assistant Coach for the Middle School Football Team and the Head Coach for the Middle School Soccer Team (4th Year Overall as a Head Coach - 1 Region Championship, 1 Time Region Runner Up ). 

I have been married to my lovely wife Amanda who is also a teacher in Floyd County for over a year. I also have two amazing stepdaughters and two rescue dogs.

Fun Facts about Me: 

1. I love to fish

2. I am a huge movie buff and all-around nerd. 

3. I have a Small Furniture Restoration/Home Decor business, while also doing some Photography work. I also make Homemade Pickles and Salsa. 

4. I am a huge sports fan! Some of the sports teams I am a fan of are: The Alabama Crimson Tide, The Atlanta Falcons, The Atlanta Braves, and The Pittsburgh Penguins.
