Welcome to Mr. Coffman's and Mrs. Haney's Kindergarten Class! We are ready to set sail on an amazing voyage of learning through fun and exciting activities.

        My name is Jason Coffman. I would like to give you a little background information about me professionally. I attended Armuchee Schools from 1st grade through my senior year graduating from Armuchee High in 1994. I then attended Georgia Highlands for a few years. After receiving a two-year degree from Georgia Highlands, I continued my education at the University of West Georgia. I completed my BS degree in Early Childhood Education in December of 2003. I completed my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education in the summer of 2018, and my specialist degree at Berry College in summer of 2020. I worked at Glenwood Primary School for 7 years, teaching Pre-K. I moved to Armuchee Elementary in 2011 to teach 4th grade Reading and Language Arts. After 4 years teaching 5th grade, I moved into the position of Music teacher. This is my 2nd year teaching Kindergarten! It is an honor to serve the community that I love. It is and always has been my home. It is my joy to come to school and teach children each day.

        Personally, I have been married to Stephanie Fox Coffman since December of 1997. We have two daughters. We love to spend time with our family and watch our favorite TV shows. We are also very involved at our church Pleasant Valley North Baptist where I serve as Minister of Music.
