Mrs. Aubrey Osborne is the band director at Coosa Middle School. This is her second year as an eagle and she previously taught band for four years at Mason Creek Middle School in Douglas County. She is from Rome, GA and is a graduate of Pepperell High School (2014) in Lindale, GA and Jacksonville State University (2019) in Jacksonville, AL.
Mrs. Osborne graduated from JSU with her B.A. in Instrumental Music Education. While at JSU, Mrs. Osborne was a member of the JSU Marching Southerners, Chamber Winds, Jazz 1, Hardcorps Pep Band, Brass Choir as well as many student lead ensembles. She studied trumpet under JSU trumpet professor Dr. Chris Probst. While at JSU, she was a member and officer of the music fraternity Sigma Alpha Iota, being Vice President in her final year at JSU. Being a member of SAI allowed her to help music programs at schools in the Jacksonville area. Mrs. Osborne is also an active member of a community group called Roman Festival Brass and has been a member since 2013.Â
