Adam Chasteen is a music educator and percussionist from Maumelle, Arkansas. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Arkansas Tech University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Music Education from the University of West Georgia.
Adam began his public school teaching career in January 2023 at Liberty County High School in Bristol, Florida, where he taught until May 2024. He currently serves as the middle and high school band director at Armuchee High School in Georgia, a role he has held since fall 2024.
In the marching arts, Adam performed with the Madison Scouts in 2021 and has served on the instructional staff of several DCI ensembles, including the Louisiana Stars (2022), Southwind (2023), Seattle Cascades (2024), and the Crossmen (2025).
In the indoor percussion activity, he currently teaches with Atlanta Quest’s Open Class ensemble, Q2, where he continues to share his passion for musical excellence and education.
Adam is proudly married to his wife, Miriam Chasteen, and remains committed to developing and inspiring young musicians both in the classroom and on the field.
