Forensics is a senior science elective at the CCA. The class will focus on the collection, identification, and analysis of crime scene evidence. Emphasis will be placed on the methods that link suspect, victim, and crime scene. Laboratory exercises will include evidence collection, finger-printing, blood typing, hair and fiber examination, DNA analysis, skeletal analysis, and studies in decomposition. Case studies and current events will be discussed.
