Mrs. Hurt has worked in the Armuchee schools since 2013. She began as the band director at Armuchee Middle school where she also assisted with the marching band at Armuchee High School. As grade levels were realigned in the schools, she began teaching elementary music and middle school chorus in addition to middle school band. She is now solely the elementary music teacher at Armuchee Elementary School, and is creating a thriving music program. She lives in Acworth with her husband and their three children.
