Counseling is an integral part of the school's instructional program. Counseling plays a role in education, career preparation/planning, social emotional learning, and the ongoing development of all students. Counselors form a team with school staff, parents and students.
AES School Counseling Programming
School wide programs include career exploration, preventative programs for a healthy social emotional balance, and life management activities, birthday celebrations, shout-outs for good behavior, and Tribe Pride activities (Homecoming week, Red Ribbon week, national days of awareness).

Hello! I am Cauprice Clance. I am both a Professional School Counselor and a Licensed Professional Therapist. This is my fourth year as a School Counselor in Armuchee.

With both a Professional School Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor certificates, my experience has been as a mental health therapist with children’s and adolescents for 13 years, 9 of which were School-Based, followed by two years as school counselor in Floyd County Schools.
I am celebrating my 13th year of marriage with my husband and we have two amazing children.
