Welcome to the Model High School Alumni site! After the recommendation to include such a section from a very prominent member of the Model Community, we have dedicated our efforts and spent an extensive amount of time perfecting the Alumni section of our website. More than 250 hours of hard work, 3000 images, and 60,000 lines of code went into the effort. Originally, the work was divided between two students: Trey Henderson (Class of 2012) and Lauren Shields (Class of 2010). When the district decided upon a new web hosting client, Jacob Stewart and Kiston Dowler reformatted the site to accommodate the SharpSchool format. Most recently, when Floyd County Schools adopted Google Sites as the preferred web host, Emma Jones-Maddox reposted all of the content to the existing site. Emma did a great job filling the gaps in previously missing content, and bringing the site up to date. With all this work, we have successfully archived a thorough record of all the yearbooks dating back to 1954, when the first Model Blue Devil Yearbook was created. Within each yearbook, you will find six major sections: Administration, Faculty, Seniors, Superlatives, Sports, and Clubs, all scanned in high resolution and available to you.
