My name is Hope Cowan and I am beyond excited to be the PE teacher at Alto Park Elementary this year.  This is my fourth year teaching physical education but I have been a teacher for 24 years. I have taught Pre-K, 1st , 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades, and Title I.  

I have lived in Rome, Georgia all  my life and graduated from Shorter College with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I also have a Master's degree in Reading and Literacy from Walden University and a Specialist degree in Administration from Lincoln Memorial University. 

I am a Coosa graduate and love this area and community.
