Hello, my name is Ms. Ashlee Swanson and I am the Media Specialist at Alto Park Elementary School. I graduated from LaFayette High School in 2009. I attended Georgia Southwestern State University where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in History, minoring in English. After completing my BA, I began Graduate School at Valdosta State University. I studied Instructional Technology with focuses on both School Library Media and Technology Applications. I have my Master's of Education in Instructional Technology: School Library Media and Technology Applications. I have also passed the Georgia GACE for Media Specialists and am certified by the GaPSC as a Media Specialist. I have worked in Education for almost 9 years. My first three years were spent at the High School level working with students with special needs. I am excited to begin my 6th year as a Media Specialist at Alto Park Elementary!Â
