I am excited to be at back at the Junior High and High School campus as the Assistant Principal in charge of Attendance and Tardies. I am beginning my 29th year in Floydada and my 34th year in Education.

A little about myself

• Graduated from Hart High School in 1983 where I was involved in Basketball, Tennis, Band, and National Honor Society.

• Graduated with my Bachelors Degree from Angelo State University in 1987 where I played Tennis for 2 years.

• Graduated with my Masters Degree from Wayland Baptist University in 2010.

• I have been married for 26 years to Gary Nixon and we have two sons, Kirby and Keenan.

• Kirby graduated from Floydada in 2016 and recently graduated from Texas Tech University in May. Kirby is back in Floydada farming and ranching.

• Keenan graduated from Floydada in 2018 and is a Junior at Texas Tech University majoring in Animal Science.

• My family loves animals and going to the lake.

• I love Tennis and still play competitive in leagues in Lubbock.
