I am married to my husband, Tanner, and together we have two boys, Cutter and Jaxson. I received my B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University in 2003, and my M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from LCU in 2014. I began my career with Floydada ISD 17 years ago teaching at AB Duncan Elementary. I had the privilege of serving as curriculum director for the district for two years before accepting a position at Region 17, ESC as a literacy specialist. Last year, I returned home to Floydada ISD to serve as the reading specialist for the district. This year, I am honored to serve as an assistant principal at AB Duncan Elementary. Propelled by the charge to serve students, staff, and the community, I enjoy interacting and learning alongside students and teachers daily. Together we can make a difference!
