The 2026 Kentucky Farm Bureau Scholarship application is now available online! For a complete list of scholarships—including KFB-administered state and county awards—along with eligibility requirements, rules, and access to the application, please visit: http://www.kyfb.com/scholarships.

Important reminders: The application must be completed in one sitting; it cannot be saved once started. To make the process easier, use the scholarship checklist on our website to gather all required information before beginning.

Deadline: All applications and required materials must be submitted by February 28, 2026, at 11:59 PM (ET).
Winners will be notified by April 25, 2026.

High School Senior Financial Aid & Scholarships

·         Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) worth up to $20,000 total – should be completed by every student – based on student and parent income for previous year – PELL federal grant worth up to $7,500, FSEOG federal grant worth up to $4,000, CAP state grant worth up to $5,000, and KTG private college grant worth up to $3,500 – apply online at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa in October 2026

·         KY Educational Excellence Scholarship (KEES Funds) worth up to $2,500 – requires at least 2.5 GPA, ACT score, and graduate from KY high school – must complete financial aid application and then KEES automatically applied to college enrolled – information available at https://www.kheaa.com/web/scholarships-grants.faces#kees

·         Work Ready KY Scholarship – worth up to $3,000 – requires enrollment in Certificate or Diploma or Associates of Applied Science Degree in one of the following areas: Construction, Education, Healthcare, Manufacturing, or Technical Services – more information available at https://www.kheaa.com/web/scholarships-grants.faces#kees - must complete financial aid application and also apply at MyKHEAA.

·         WYMT Mountain Classic Scholarship worth $1,000 – requires proven academic performance and financial need – apply online at https://www.wymt.com/sports/mountain-classic/ by September 26th, 2025

·         WYMT Tony Turner Memorial Broadcast Scholarship and Ralph Gabbard Memorial Broadcast Scholarship worth $1,000 each – requires proven academic performance and financial need as well as plan to major in communications, broadcasting or journalism – apply online at https://www.wymt.com/sports/mountain-classic/ by September 26th, 2025

·         Coca-Cola Scholarship worth up to $4,000 – requires at least 3.0 GPA and community service – apply online at https://www.coca-colascholarsfoundation.org/apply/ by September 30th, 2025

·         All “A” Classic Scholarship worth $1,000 – requires senior to be drug free and in good standing at KY high school that is a member of the All “A” Classic for athletics – submit reference letters, essay, picture, and transcript - apply online at https://www.allaclassic.org/scholarships/ by October 2025

·         Delete Cyberbullying Scholarships worth $1,000 – requires short essay on different topics for each scholarship – apply online at https://www.endcyberbullying.net/scholarship - Cyberbullying Beyond School Walls due October 2025 and Cyberbullying on Social Media due February 2026 and Cyberbullying Mental Health Awareness due June 2026

·         Hagan Scholarship worth $7,500 – requires at least 3.5 GPA, complete at least 240 work hours (full time or part time) during 2026 year before start of the fall college semester, and parents household income less than $100,000 – apply online at https://haganscholarships.org/application/ by December 1st, 2025

·         KY Association of School Business Officials (KASBO) Scholarship worth $2,500 – requires counselor reference form and community or church reference form and plan to major in Business or Education – apply online at https://kyasbo.org/page/Scholarship2025 by December 2025

·         Louis Stout Memorial Scholarship by KHSAA worth $2,000 – requires at least 3.5 GPA, involvement in varsity sports, involvement in other school activities, and community service – apply online at www.khsaa.org by February 2026

·         Whitaker Bank KHSAA Sweet 16 Scholarship worth $1,500 – requires at least 2.5 GPA and participation in at least one KHSAA sanctioned sport – apply online at www.khsaa.org by February 2026

·         KY Farm Bureau Member State Level Scholarship worth $1,000 – requires at least 2.5 GPA and student or parent must be KY Farm Bureau Member – apply online at https://www.kyfb.com/federation/programs/youth-development/scholarships/ by February 2026

·         Floyd County Farm Bureau Member Scholarship worth $500 – requires at least 3.0 GPA and student or parent must be Floyd County Farm Bureau Member – contact Floyd County Farm Bureau Office for application in February 2026

·         Bluegrass Indo American Civic Society (BIACS) Scholarships worth $1,000 to $1,500 – requires 3.0 GPA, resume, personal essay, and reference letter – both merit and needs based scholarships awarded - apply online at https://www.biacs.org/scholarship.html by February 2026

·         Bertee & Rhetta Faye Adkins Scholarship by Foundation for Appalachian KY worth up to $1,000 – requires at least 2.6 GPA for senior of Betsy Layne High School - apply online at https://www.appalachianky.org/student-scholarships/ by February 2026

·         Civil Engineering Scholarship by KY Transportation Cabinet worth $7,000 – requires at least 3.0 GPA and at least 24 ACT score and plan to major in Civil Engineering at UK or UofL or WKU – apply online at https://transportation.ky.gov/Education/Pages/Civil-Engineering-Scholarship.aspx by February 2026

·         Floyd County Conservation Board Scholarship worth $1,000 – requires at least 3.0 GPA and senior of any Floyd County High School – apply with high school counselor by March 2026

·         Commonwealth Credit Union Member Scholarship worth $1,000 – requires video answering questions – apply online at https://www.ccuky.org/scholarship-application by March 2026

·         Operation UNITE Club Anti-Drug Scholarship worth $1,500 – requires at least 2.75 GPA and membership in UNITE Club Or directly impacted by substance misuse of a family member - apply online at https://operationunite.org/programs/scholarships/ by March 2026

·         Floyd County Education Association (FCEA) Scholarship worth $1,000 – requires 3.0 GPA, 21 ACT score, and parent must be a member of the Floyd County Education Association – application available with high school counselor and FCEA Officers – apply by March 2026

·         Appalachian Wireless Scholarship worth $1,000 – requires at least 2.5 GPA, financial need, school and community involvement, and student or parent be Appalachian Wireless customer for at least 12 months – apply online at https://appalachianwireless.com/scholarship by March 2026

·         Double Kwik Fueling the Future Scholarship worth $1,000 – requires at least 3.0 GPA – apply online at www.doublekwik.com by March 2026

·         Stephen Keller Scholarship by Bluegrass Community Foundation worth $2,000 – requires residence in Eastern KY with at least 2.5 GPA and plan to major in Business Related Field – apply online at https://www.bgcf.org/scholarships/ by March 2026

·         KY Educational Development Corporation (KEDC) Scholarship worth $2,500 – requires at least 3.0 GPA and benchmarks for the ACT test and financial need – apply online at https://www.kedc.org/page/kedc-scholarship by April 2026

·         KY Retired Teachers Association (KRTA) Kimbler Scholarship worth $1,000 – requires plan to major in Education and begin at community college – one scholarship awarded at each of the 16 community colleges in KY each year – apply through financial aid office at community college in April 2026

·         TC Energy Scholarship for Trades such as Electrical and Welding worth $2,500 and for STEM Careers worth up to $5,000 – requires residence in eastern KY region and US citizenship – apply online at https://www.tcenergy.com/community-giving/scholarships/US/ by May 2026

·         Bonita Compton Scholarship by Foundation for Appalachian KY worth up to $4,500 – requires 2.5 GPA for senior of any Floyd County High School - apply online at https://www.appalachianky.org/student-scholarships/ - deadline TBA

·         Every college offers scholarships for academic merit and/or financial need – check the website for the college of your choice for scholarship options and applications
