Dr. Lauren Payne is a board-certified dermatologist dedicated to empowering both patients and healthcare providers with evidence-based skin care and expert guidance. After completing her medical degree and dermatology residency, Dr. Payne launched SKINSpired, a health and wellness platform offering skin education, a skincare tracking app, physician-to-physician consulting (DermaGuidance), and the popular “Symptoms and Side Eyes” podcast.

With a passion for bridging gaps in skin care access, Dr. Payne created DermaGuidance to support primary care providers managing skin conditions—enabling timely, HIPAA-compliant consultations and ongoing education. Known for her inclusive approach, she especially advocates for tailored skincare treatments depending on specific needs, ensuring everyone can access the clarity and care their skin deserves.

Dr. Payne is also a co-host and co-creator of the “Symptoms and Side Eyes” podcast, where she and her co-host, an internal medicine and obesity medicine specialist, debunk health myths, share wellness insights, and discuss the realities of entrepreneurship in medicine.

Dr. Payne is also the Founder of Flourish Dermatology and Aesthetics in New Orleans, LA and balances her clinical work with platform development, speaking engagements, and mentoring the next generation of physicians on the journey toward professional success—because great skin and great service start with solid guidance.
