Aquatic Science Course Overview-

Aquatic Science is a year long, upper level science course. Students should have completed Biology and Chemistry/IPC prior to taking this course. This course studies a variety of topics including: abiotic and biotic components of fresh and saltwater ecosystems throughout Texas, water properties, history and current advances in navigation and exploration of the water biomes.

AP Environmental Science Course Overview-

AP Environmental Science is a rigorous, interdisciplinary course focusing on the application of scientific concepts and principles to the understanding and methodologies regarding the solution of environmental problems and issues. An equivalent to a college-level class, this course includes lecture, laboratory and field components through which students will learn about environmental issues while developing and applying critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills. This class's goal is to prepare you to have a better understanding of the world around you and to of course hopefully pass the AP Exam in May to receive college credit in the course.
