Class overview
We will sing, y'all! I'm so excited to work with each and every student to build your musical skills, your life skills, and your skills as a team. There will be concerts, games, music theory, voice technique, and a musical family you won't find anywhere else. Come swarm sing with the Hornet family!
About me
I'm Dr. Hope F. Thacker, and I love teaching, singing, and playing the piano. I have degrees in Music Education, Choral Conducting, and Vocal Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. My family and I have lived in Corpus Christi for the last 10 years, and we are proud to be raising our boys here at FBISD. When I'm not teaching, you'll find me hanging out with our boys at the baseball field, with FBNJROTC, cooking, or with my nose in a book!
