Mr. Purdy

About me

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from Texas A&M Corpus Christi in 2006.  

While this will be my 7th year teaching at Flour Bluff High School, it will be my 18th year teaching.  I was previously at Moody High School and King High School in CCISD, where I taught Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Math Models, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus, and AP Computer Science Principles.  

This year I will be teaching Computer Science 1, Advanced Computer Science,  AP Computer Science A, Computer Science 3, and OnRamps Computer Science.  In addition to teaching Computer Science, I will also be coaching UIL Computer Science and UIL Number Sense.
