Journalism/Newspaper Class Overview
This course equips students with the skills to research, write, design, and publish compelling journalistic content across print and digital platforms. Students will explore media law and ethics, photojournalism, digital photography, and layout design while incorporating emerging digital tools, including audio, video, and web-based media, to produce multimedia news packages. Through hands-on projects, students develop visual storytelling, media literacy, and technical skills essential for modern journalism.
Principles of Art: Audio/Video Techology and Communications
In this course, your student will take a "breakfast sampler" of the different areas within the CTE Career Cluster known as Arts Audio/Video Technology and Communications. They will learn the basics of art, video game design, video editing, photo editing, fashion design, and career exploration.
