Welcome to 3rd Grade!
This year we will work together to become a team of people who enjoy learning about many different subjects. In math we will focus primarily on multiplication, division, fractions, and geometry. Our reading focus is on switching from a focus on learning to read to reading to learn and we will practice those skills with our science and social studies curriculum. We will also write everyday about many topics, from personal narratives to scientific hypothesis.

About me
I have been blessed to be a teacher for the past twenty-three years, teaching many grade levels from kindergarten to seventh grade. I grew up in California and attended UC Davis. From there I taught in Cupertino, CA until my husband and I moved to Oregon. We lived there for fifteen wonderful years but were always drawn to live near our family in Montana. I am very happy to be here in the beautiful Bitterroot and enjoy spending time with my two delightful children, hiking, reading, camping, and playing with our dog.
