Our background and expertise is rooted in the "Customer Success" function for high-growth SaaS/technology companies. Essentially, the means we were ultimately accountable to ensuring the we delivered to our customers what they needed/expected to ensure they continued to do business with us and expand. Naturally, developing deep partnerships with customers is core to that motion. We first focus on securing the existing customer base to ensure they are getting value from our business and continue to do business with us. With the cost to acquire a new customer being 5-7x higher than keeping a customer, preventing "churn" is a foundational strategy. And, once we prevented churn and delivered value, we earn the opportunity to expand and grow with those customers.
Reliance on a single or small group of customers for a large share of revenue for a business (also known as customer concentration risk) can create challenges for business owners. We view this as validation of a product/service and an area we can help mitigate through (1) expansion of smaller share customers via our "Customer Retention & Growth" capabilities mentioned above, (2) selling into net new customers, and (3) strategically introducing add-on services to diversify revenue.
People are core to business and we've had experience running very large teams. This ranges from recruiting, hiring and managing our workforce, diversifying our people mix across career levels, and driving, setting and communicating strategy and organizational priorities. Sure, people often mean headaches (we've "seen it all"), but we know that when focused on, people are a critical differentiator and make a business.
