October: Seniors meet with Mr. Tran, Ms. Batbouta, and Ms. McKain to start brainstorming for their senior projects. They will also learn how to write a professional email.

Senior Project Mentor Form due Friday, November 15 by 5:00 pm.
.Step 1: Seek out, and talk to a faculty or staff member at FH to mentor you for your SP.
Step 2: Fill out the SP Mentor Form and click Submit.
Step 3: Start brainstorming, and networking for your SP.
Next Deadline: SP Proposal: Due March 2026.
December-February 2026
Seniors will use 3 advisory times to brainstorm, draft, network, and create mini-proposals.

Seniors are assigned to one of 9 Senior Project Teams.
MARCH 2026
Seniors will receive notification from the Senior Project Team Leader whether or not their project has been approved.
Seniors need to turn in their SENIOR PROJECT PROPOSAL AND CALENDAR DUE ON FRIDAY, MARCH 9 BY 5:00PM.

Senior Projects officially begin on May 6 (Senior Day is Friday, May 4)
Seniors must finish their service hours prior to starting their senior project.
Seniors are required to attend AP classes until the AP exam.
Start Senior Project Journal: Due dates will vary based on the student's start date.
Mid-project mentor meeting: Be sure to schedule a meeting ahead of time with your mentor so that you may review your progress at the midpoint (approx. 25 hours).
Final Reflection: Due on your last work day.
Final Portfolio Completed: Submit √ your final (polished) journal at least 24 hours prior to your presentation date through your team's Google Classroom.
Senior projects should conclude 50 hours of work completed and the final product submitted by
Journal and Presentation:
You will be assigned a presentation/final meeting date based on your projected last day of work.
Your Senior Project Journal must be submitted at 24 hours prior to your presentation date, so that team members can review your work.
During this meeting, you will present a summary of what you did on your project and reflections on what you learned from the experience. Afterwards, you will answer questions from the panel about your experiences. Your presentation should run approximately 15-20 minutes, not counting the 5-minute Q & A periods afterwards.
Students will be told at this meeting whether or not they have fulfilled all of the requirements for the senior project and passed. Some students may be asked to revise their final product if the Senior Project Team deems this necessary for the student to pass. Please see the rubrics for the presentations
All presentations are in-person.

Upper School Closing ceremony is June 5.
