WELCOME!

Come see how you can join the hearts and minds of our parish through MUSIC MINISTRY!

Here's how YOU (or someone you know) can help:

Music Sponsorship

I hope you enjoyed our Advent and Christmas liturgies that were so beautiful with the addition of instrumentalists thanks to so many generous donations from our parishioners. I am so proud of the work we put in for this year's Christmas Eve Mass. Our sound system is not set up to give fantastic results from home, but you can hear a little of the love and spirit of Christmas from all of us in the Music Minsitry Program at St. John Vianney Parish. We are so blessed with gifts of many kinds that offer support of our musical prayer that we give right back to all who come pray with us, in the hopes that Christ will change your lives and bring us all to Him.

If you are a teenager or young adult and want to be a part of music at church - Click here to email the Music Director and see how your gifts can help change the world!

If you have a child who loves to sing - Join our new young cantor training program or youth choir

If you play an instrument, like the flute, trumpet, clarinet, violin, cello, guitar or any other -you can help!

If you have technical skills in livestream, webpages, Youtube videos, photography, and love social media - You can help!

About me

Hi! My name is Ely Costello. I am a 45 yr old musician, wife to Dcn. Sean, and mother to Maggie, Tim, Anna & Danny. I was formed and encouraged to be a leader in the church by a small parish in rural Wisconsin, called St. Mary's, when I was in middle school! When I was confirmed, I heard God calling me to serve the church through my skills in music, so I went to the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN to become a music major, explicitly in liturgical music and then continued graduate studies in liturgy. Since then, I've worked in parishes for the past 20 years praying with cantors, choirs, kids and instrumentalists to bring people closer to God and to realize our place in this world as we reach for our salvation in heaven.
