Giving

OFFERING AS AN ACT OF WORSHIP

Most churches include an offering as part of their weekly worship service. We know that God doesn’t need our time, our talents, or our money, but supporting God's mission for the church with our offerings is just one way we convey gratitude for what God has first given us. In this way our offering is an expression of devotion to God and an act of worship.

WHERE YOUR OFFERING GOES

General Fund offerings support the mission and ministry of First Lutheran Church. This ministry happens in our church's building, but also involves work in the community and support ministry in our synod and national church. Together we respond to ministry opportunities here and around the world.

Online Giving is done on the page below where you have these options:

Choose where you wish to direct your gift.
Give by credit card or from your checking or savings account. Using your checking or savings account will have smaller are fees.
Make a one-time gift or a recurring gift.
Make a gift in memory of a loved one to one of our Covenant Fund accounts.

Once you create an account under the profile tab, you can return to login to easily give again or you can update your recurring donation.

Text Giving

Send a Text to 855-934-1127 with the amount you'd like to contribute. (Make sure to include a dollar sign ($) before the amount.)

If you don't have an account set up, you'll be sent a text back with a link to sign up and add your credit card.

Once your account is in place, future text donations will process quickly.

Verification will be sent to by text as well as an email to the address you provide.
