Hello! My name is Carissa Watters. I have been teaching at Frankton since 2015. I started my teaching career in 2003 at Shenandoah. I have taught mathematics at the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade levels. I have also taught Algebra I and an Algebra Enrichment class for freshman. My education background is in elementary education with an endorsement in mathematics from Anderson University. I furthered my education with a master's degree in elementary and middle school mathematics from Ball State University. I attended Daleville High School all of my elementary and high school years.

I come from a family of teachers...my dad is a retired psychology professor from Anderson University and my mom is retired from a career in Montessori education. She had her own school when I was very young. My step-mom taught at Ball State in the journalism department.

I married my husband in 2010 and moved to the Alexandria/Summitville area. I have a daughter that attends Frankton and a step-daughter that graduated from Ball State University as an RN.
