Brevard Veterans Cemetery

Titusville, Florida

This cemetery is fairly new; with the earliest burial being in 1978, however, some of the veterans buried here were Brevard County pioneers. It is maintained by the Brevard Veterans Council. The grounds are well kept. There is a flagpole, some benches, a lectern for services, and a chain-link fence all around with an open gate for entry. Please park outside the gate.

To reach this cemetery, take south Street west from U.S. Hwy. 1 (Washington Ave.) in Titusville and turn left. Drive south on Deleon Ave. for one mile to Day Street. Turn right and go two and one-half blocks. Look for cemetery signs on the left side at a dirt one lane entry road. Go south down this road past the Brevard County Cemetery on your right and continue for about 300 feet. You will see a small white building and a tower; the Veterans Cemetery is just past it. All graves have either a standard military style white upright granite stone or a bronze plaque with raised lettering (Government issue) set flat on a concrete base.

Find A Grave has photos of this cemetery along with many of the brave military men and women who are buried here.
