Justin Bartlett is a native of Southeast Texas and holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Tarleton State University, where he served as drumline captain for the Sound & The Fury Drumline. He has led Glen Rose High School and Mt. Vernon High School to their first NTCA Indoor Percussion Championships, earning gold medals in 2019 and 2024, and served as the percussion coordinator for the Tarleton State University High School Drumline Camp from 2023–2025. Under his direction, the Schulenburg High School band performed in the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, D.C., and earned three consecutive UIL Concert and Sightreading first divisions. Mr. Bartlett currently serves as Director of Bands at Flatonia ISD and is an active clinician and adjudicator, striving to provide high-quality music education in rural small school programs across Texas. He is a member of TBA, ATSSB, and TMEA, and is an Educational Artist for Salyers Percussion.

Mr. Lane is thrilled to serve as the Assistant Band Director for Flatonia ISD. He brings three years of experience teaching 5th–12th grade music at Cisco ISD. He has led the percussion ensemble that qualified for the state solo and ensemble contest for three consecutive years. Mr. Lane is a graduate of Tarleton State University where he participated in the Percussion Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, and the Sound And The Fury marching band. Mr. Lane is passionate about fostering musical growth and creating a supportive, high-achieving environment for all students. He believes music builds not only skill, but character, confidence, and community. Outside the classroom, Mr. Lane enjoys spending time with family, golfing, watching sporting events, and listening to live music. He looks forward to helping the band program reach exciting new heights.
