A native of Southeast Texas Mr. Bartlett attended Lamar University
where he was a member of the award winning Lamar Drumline. He later
transferred to Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX and
graduated in the Fall of 2020 with a Bachelors Degree in Music. While a
student at Tarleton he was a member of the Wind Ensemble. Symphonic Band, Latin Band, Percussion Ensemble, pep band, marching band and drumline. Mr. Bartlett served as lead tenor in 2016 and drumline captain in 2017 for the Sound & The Fury Drumline. While at Tarleton Mr. Bartlett has led both Glen Rose HS and Mt. Vernon HS to their first ever NTCA Indoor Percussion Championships where they won gold in 2019 (Glen Rose) and 2024 (Mt. Vernon). Under his direction the Schulenburg HS band performed in the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington DC as well as 3 consecutive years of 1st divisions in UIL Concert and Sightreading. Mr Bartlett also served as the percussion coordinator for the Tarleton State University HS Drumline Camp in 2023,2024, and 2025. Mr. Bartlett continues to be an active clinician and judge for small school percussion programs across the state. He is a current member of TBA, ATSSB and TMEA as well as an Educational Artist for Salyers Percussion

Mr. Lane is thrilled to serve as the Assistant Band Director for Flatonia ISD. He brings three years of experience teaching 5th–12th grade music at Cisco ISD. He has led the percussion ensemble that qualified for the state solo and ensemble contest for three consecutive years. Mr. Lane is a graduate of Tarleton State University where he participated in the Percussion Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, and the Sound And The Fury marching band. Mr. Lane is passionate about fostering musical growth and creating a supportive, high-achieving environment for all students. He believes music builds not only skill, but character, confidence, and community. Outside the classroom, Mr. Lane enjoys spending time with family, golfing, watching sporting events, and listening to live music. He looks forward to helping the band program reach exciting new heights.
