***Sydney was chosen as Gymnast of the Week this week, because of her drive, work ethic, resilience, and leadership. When things get tough, Sydney doesn't quit- she strives to do better, and encourages her teammates to do the same. Sydney has consistently performed at a highly competitive level all season, and will cap off a great year with a trip to State Meet next weekend alongside teammate Claire O'Gorman! Congrats, Syd, and good luck at State!

***Claire was chosen as Gymnast of the Week, because she has really stepped up as a quiet leader, both at practices and in competition. Claire has a positive attitude, and has mental strength and composure that are well beyond her years. Her ability to rebound after a missed routine, or get back up and finish strong is admirable. Claire will represent Forest Lake and Section 7AA at State Meet next weekend, along with teammate Sydney Nenn! Congratulations, Claire, and good luck at State!
It's Senior Night this week, so the coaches wanted to do a special shout out to a couple of senior *CAPTAINS* who haven't been featured yet this season: Sofia Dodge and Izzy North!

***Sofia is being recognized by the coaches, because despite the fact that she's been out for most of the season due to injuries, she's still been at every practice, encouraging her teammates, and leading by example. Her positive attitude, work ethic, and ability to connect with her teammates make her such an asset to the team. Congratulations, Sofia!

***Izzy is being recognized this week, because of her resilience and positivity. Izzy suffered a severe injury last season, that most people thought would be career-ending. But Izzy wasn't willing to give up on gymnastics, and came back into the gym this season ready to contribute to the team in any way she could. Izzy's excitement for her teammates when they learn something new is so genuine, and her team spirit helps motivate everyone in the gym. Congrats, Izzy!

Kinley was chosen as Gymnast of the Week, because she has pushed herself to learn and compete multiple new skills over the last few weeks. Her determination, grit, and positivity lead her to her highest floor score of the season on Saturday. Congrats, Kinley!

Nicole was chosen as Gymnast of the Week because of her hard work, leadership, and consistency. She put new skills in her routines last week, and went 4 for 4 in our meet against Roseville! Congratulations, Nicole!

Jordan was chosen by the coaches as Gymnast of the Week because she works hard and is willing to try new things. She really focused and stepped up her game this week, placing 2nd on vault at the Gustavus Invitational! Congrats, Jordan!
