Forest Lake National Honor Society students must complete 50 hours of service throughout the school year. The school year starts September 2026 and ends June 1 2027. The hours must come from the following:

Students can earn an Ambassador Award on Induction Night by completing 100 hours of service. The timeframe for completing 100 hours of service is begins June 1, 2025, and ends June 1, 2026. The hours could be completed from the following

volunteer opportunities from other clubs throughout the school
Attends all monthly meetings throughout the year with 2 excused absence
Meetings are held once a month at 6:00 pm in the media center
Participates in 6 of 9 monthly volunteer events
Tutor twice a semester (either after school on Wednesdays or 1-1)
Volunteer at an elementary school once a semester
