Flarewise Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 26, 2026 Last Updated: July 26, 2026

Flarewise is operated by Justin Toppins. This Privacy Policy explains how Flarewise collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the Flarewise mobile application, website, Community features, AI features, subscriptions, reports, and related services.

By creating an account or using Flarewise, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. Flarewise is intended only for users who are at least 17 years old.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account and profile information

When you create or use a Flarewise account, we may process your name or display name, email address, Base44 user ID, account role, age-eligibility confirmation, selected conditions, account preferences, consent choices, and subscription-entitlement status.

Authentication is provided through Base44/Wix. Flarewise does not intentionally store or have access to your password in plain text.

1.2 Health and wellness information stored on your device

Most day-to-day health tracking information is created by you and stored primarily in user-specific local storage on your device. This may include:

-  Symptom logs, symptom severity, pain, energy, sleep, mood, and flare information

-  Body-map entries

-  Food, hydration, nutrition, and activity entries

-  Medications and supplements

-  Triggers and patterns

-  Journal entries, notes, and starred entries

-  Goals and app settings

-  POTS, MCAS, hEDS, HSD, or other condition information you choose to provide

Core local health history is not designed to sync automatically across devices. Some account details, selected conditions, consent records, Community data, report data, and other feature-specific records may be stored on Base44 servers as described below.

1.3 Server-stored and feature-specific information

Depending on the features you use, Flarewise may store or process the following on Base44/Wix infrastructure:

-  Account and profile information

-  AI consent records and consent history

-  Community posts, comments, reactions, reports, blocks, and moderation records

-  Shareable report data, report-link tokens, expiration dates, and view counts

-  Report-delivery history, including delivery method, date range, and recipient email where applicable

-  Security, account-deletion, and audit records

-  Any server-backed health records created by a specific feature

1.4 Subscription and purchase information

When you purchase or restore a subscription, Apple and RevenueCat may process your subscription product, transaction or receipt information, entitlement status, renewal or expiration status, and a RevenueCat App User ID based on your Flarewise/Base44 user ID.

Flarewise does not receive or store your complete payment-card number or billing credentials.

1.5 Technical and security information

Base44/Wix, Apple, RevenueCat, and other service providers may process limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as IP address, request timestamps, app or operating-system version, authentication events, errors, and security logs.

Flarewise does not currently use advertising trackers, sell personal information, or use personal health information for targeted advertising or cross-app tracking.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

-  Create, authenticate, and protect user accounts

-  Store and display user-specific health tracking information

-  Provide timelines, trends, goals, journals, insights, and reports

-  Provide optional AI features after the required consent

-  Operate Community posting, commenting, reactions, reporting, blocking, and moderation

-  Process subscriptions and determine premium access

-  Create, share, and deliver reports at the user's request

-  Respond to support, privacy, and safety requests

-  Prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access

-  Diagnose technical problems and improve reliability

-  Comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable terms

3. When Health Information Leaves Your Device

Most health tracking information remains on your device. Selected information may leave your device only when you actively use a feature that requires server processing, including:

-  Health AI chat, weekly summaries, flare reflections, or similar AI-powered insights

-  Community features, where you choose to post or comment

-  A seven-day shareable report link

-  Direct report email to a registered Flarewise user

-  PDF or native sharing through an app or service you choose

Flarewise does not sell health information or provide it to advertising networks.

4. Health AI Processing and Consent

Health AI features are optional. Before health information is sent for AI processing, Flarewise displays a Health AI disclosure and asks for your explicit consent.

Depending on the AI feature, the information sent may include:

-  The question or message you submit

-  Selected conditions

-  Recent symptoms and symptom severity

-  Pain, energy, sleep, mood, and flare information

-  Food or histamine-related entries

-  Activity information

-  Body-region summaries

-  Recent conversation context needed to answer your request

Health AI requests are processed through Base44 AI Services, operated by Wix, and the configured Anthropic Claude model provider.

You may decline Health AI consent and continue using non-AI tracking features. You may also revoke consent from Settings > Data & Privacy Controls. Revocation blocks future Health AI processing but cannot reverse processing that occurred before revocation.

Flarewise's active AI chat, weekly summary, and flare-reflection features do not create permanent Flarewise conversation records unless the app clearly tells you otherwise. Base44/Wix and Anthropic may retain or log information temporarily according to their own contracts, security practices, and privacy policies.

AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your circumstances. It is provided for reflection and general information only and is not medical advice.

5. Community Features and Safety Review

Community posts, comments, reactions, reports, blocks, and moderation records are stored on Base44/Wix infrastructure.

-  Ordinary Community content does not display your account email address.

-  A non-anonymous post may show your display name and any condition information you choose to share.

-  An anonymous post hides your display name from other users but remains internally linked to your user ID for ownership, safety, reporting, blocking, and deletion.

-  You may delete your own posts and comments.

-  You may report content, block users, and later unblock them.

Community post text is reviewed through Base44 AI Services before publication. Base44 may route this text to third-party AI model providers selected by the platform. Comments are screened through a rules-based safety filter.

Community safety review uses a separate consent scope from Health AI. Granting one consent does not grant the other.

Authorised administrators may review Community reports, remove content, and retain limited moderation or audit records where reasonably necessary for safety, abuse prevention, or dispute handling.

6. Subscriptions

Flarewise offers optional monthly and annual subscriptions. Apple processes billing through In-App Purchase, and RevenueCat is used to verify subscription and premium-entitlement status.

RevenueCat receives a Flarewise/Base44 user identifier and subscription-related information. Flarewise does not send health logs or Community content to RevenueCat for subscription processing.

Deleting your Flarewise account does not cancel an Apple subscription. You must separately manage or cancel the subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings.

7. Reports and Sharing

7.1 PDF download and native sharing

You may generate a report locally and download it as a PDF or share a summary through your device's native share options. After you share or save a report, the destination service you choose controls its own storage and privacy practices.

7.2 Seven-day shareable links

You may create a private, read-only report link that can be viewed without a Flarewise login. The selected report data is stored on Base44/Wix infrastructure together with a token, expiration date, and view count. The link expires after seven days.

Anyone who has the link can view the report until it expires. Share report links only with people you trust.

7.3 Direct report email

Direct report email uses Base44's email service and is available only to recipients who are registered Flarewise users. When you choose this option, the recipient email address and the selected report content are processed for delivery.

To share a report with a healthcare provider or another person who is not registered with Flarewise, use PDF download, native sharing, or the private seven-day report link.

Flarewise stores limited report-delivery metadata, such as delivery method, date range, and recipient email. The recipient and their email provider may retain the delivered message.

8. Peer Benchmark Content

Flarewise does not currently operate an anonymous benchmark-sharing program and does not transmit user health data to create peer benchmarks.

Any peer-comparison or 'What others report' text shown in the app is static editorial information and is not calculated from Flarewise users' data.

9. Service Providers and Data Sharing

Flarewise may share information only as needed to operate requested features:

-  Base44/Wix: authentication, hosting, databases, backend functions, security, email delivery, and AI-service routing

-  Anthropic: optional Health AI processing through the configured Claude model

-  RevenueCat: subscription and entitlement verification

-  Apple: app distribution, In-App Purchases, subscription billing, purchase restoration, and platform services

-  Recipients and third-party apps selected by you when you share reports or Community content

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, investigate abuse or fraud, or establish and defend legal claims.

Flarewise does not sell or rent personal information.

10. Data Retention

-  Local health data remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app's data, delete your account, or uninstall the app.

-  Account and server-stored feature data is generally retained while your account remains active.

-  Shareable report links are configured to expire after seven days.

-  Delivered report emails may remain in the recipient's inbox according to the recipient's email provider.

-  Consent, security, moderation, subscription, and legal records may be retained where reasonably necessary.

-  Base44 may keep deleted table records in a recoverable 'Recently Deleted' state for up to 30 days before permanent deletion.

-  Apple, RevenueCat, Base44/Wix, Anthropic, and other providers retain information according to their own policies and contractual obligations.

We may retain de-identified or aggregated information that can no longer reasonably identify you.

11. Your Choices and Privacy Controls

Within Flarewise, you may be able to:

-  Update your account or display information

-  Export locally stored health data as a JSON file

-  Delete local health data from the current device

-  Delete your own Community posts and comments

-  Report Community content and block or unblock users

-  Grant, decline, or revoke Health AI consent

-  Grant, decline, or revoke Community safety-review consent

-  Delete your Flarewise account and associated data

Older local data created before the account-scoped storage system may be offered for import or deletion through Data & Privacy Controls.

12. Account Deletion

You can initiate account deletion from Settings > Delete My Account and Data. The deletion flow requires identity and confirmation checks before the account is removed.

When deletion succeeds, Flarewise removes the active Base44 user account, associated active server records, and the current user's local Flarewise data from the device. This includes applicable consent records, Community content and relationships, report links and history, and other user-owned records handled by the deletion process.

Some information may remain temporarily in Base44 recovery systems for up to 30 days, and limited records may be retained by service providers or where required for security, billing, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

Deleting your Flarewise account does not cancel your Apple subscription. Manage or cancel the subscription separately through Apple.

13. Children and Age Eligibility

Flarewise is intended only for users who are at least 17 years old. Users who do not confirm that they are at least 17 are blocked from normal app use, while retaining access to required legal, support, logout, and account-deletion controls.

If you believe an underage person has provided information through Flarewise, contact us at support@flarewiseapp.com.

14. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards intended to protect information. These include authenticated accounts, user-specific storage, server-side authorisation, consent checks, and protected backend operations.

No internet transmission, device storage, or cloud system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your password and device and for sharing report links only with intended recipients.

15. International Processing

Flarewise and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. These countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your location.

16. Medical Disclaimer

Flarewise is a consumer symptom-tracking and wellness application. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency monitoring, or emergency services.

AI output, trends, summaries, reports, and Community content are informational only. Always seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional regarding symptoms, medications, diagnoses, or treatment decisions. Contact local emergency services when urgent medical care is required.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Flarewise, its providers, or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top will identify the latest version.

Where a material change affects the purpose of AI processing, the categories of information sent, or the recipients of that information, Flarewise may provide additional notice and request renewed consent before the changed processing occurs.
