These presentations and assignments were created with Google Slides, but will export to PowerPoint files (.pptx) when you click on the link. That offers the most flexibility because the files will work in both PowerPoint and Sides. Unfortunately, Google does not allow users to force an entire folder to be copied, so each file will need to be downloaded individually.
The presentations are meant to be led by a teacher in class or in a video recording. They do not stand on their own without talking through each slide!
Note Reading Exercises in Treble and Bass Clef:
More Practice: The following assignments can be used if your students need more practice with note reading, or if you would like to review note reading after working through the interval exercises.
Creating Written Intervals: These assignments are really about counting lines and spaces to prepare students for the basic concepts of chord creation, so they do not address the aural quality of intervals. They can be paired with interval recognition activities separately.
Teaching Choir? The following assignments are designed to pair letter reading, key signature identification, and identifying moveable Do. Unlike the other assignments on this site, these are meant to be printed and completed by hand.
