In our BTES school community, there exists a vital group of volunteers known as the Parent Teacher Organization, or simply the PTO. This dedicated team of parents and teachers plays a crucial role in enhancing our school and neighborhood. The PTO is responsible for many incredible experiences for our children in the community.

The PTO is composed of parents and teachers who collaborate to support education and foster a positive learning environment for students. They work behind the scenes to ensure that our school community has access to exciting activities, resources, and a nurturing educational atmosphere.
What does the PTO do?
What does the PTO do?
The PTO focuses on fundraising and event planning to build community and provide support for teachers.
In the past, we have successfully fundraised for a new playground and gym equipment, sponsored monthly dances to support grade-level field trips, created school spirit wear and provided a school store, and assisted with school and district events. We have also organized teacher and staff appreciation lunches and gifts, provided refreshments on field day, and sponsored the monthly Parents newsletter.
This year, we are thrilled to introduce some exciting new events, including a You and Me formal dance and a VPK-1st grade magic night!

How can I get Involved?
Join the PTO: Attend meetings to share your ideas, and actively engage in planning and executing events. Check out our website at: btespto.org for meeting dates and information.
Can’t attend the meetings?
Volunteer: Offer your time and skills to assist with activities. Join our email list to have volunteer sign-ups sent to you or view the volunteer sign-ups on our volunteer page!
Fundraise: Support fundraising efforts when you can.
Attend Events: Participate in PTO-sponsored events with your family to foster a sense of community and school spirit.
By getting involved, you can make a positive impact on our school community and help create lasting memories for our families. We would love to have your participation in any way. Thank you for your support, and we hope to see you at future PTO events!
