We have been supplying our customers with many interesting IT-solutions during the years. Below you will find some examples.
IT-Related
Complete server HW/SW installation and setup for a Swedish MedTech company. The systems were based on Windows Server, Lotus Domino eMail/Groupware and Windows client stations and included a complete setup of user and group rights in Active Directory as well as in Domino databases and email system.
Easy-to-use, highly cost effective, backup solution for a large international electronic component supplier's Swedish regional office
Instruction drawings (AutoCAD) for one of Sweden's most well-known car engine pre-heater manufacturers
Multiple installations of ROI-efficient LAN infrastructures
Hardware modifications and expansions for a MedTech development consultant
Simple, NAS-based, automated and redundant off-site backup solution for a small consultant firm in the tobacco industry
WiFi-solutions and troubleshooting for both companies, housing associations and individuals
Wireless IP-cam solutions for surveillance purposes accessible through mobile devices over the Internet
Automated, "intelligent" home with remote temperature & humidity readings in every room, remote controlled light & temperature/heating. The system is intelligent enough to respond to certain trigger conditions, like dangerously low or high temperatures/humidity, sunrise and sunset, specific weekdays or weekends. It can respond with started/stopped heaters, fans, send emails, send SMS, etc...
A really nice way to remote control your home or/and summer cabin.
High-speed WiFi-based radio bridge solutions, with self-healing connection, for distances between 40-200m (capacity for up to 1½km)
Security related projects:
We are continuously developing an earlier installed security system based on a Visonic alarm system, an IP-camera surveillance system based on Synology NAS/Surveillance and some "smart home" equipment (motion sensors, power outlets and temp/humidity sensors, switches and remote controls) and features from Telldus/NEXA/Dovado. A somewhat simple, but still powerful, configuration based on Wireless sensors, outlets and cameras. Everything can be remote controlled through Internet/Mobile apps.
Vehicle tuning over the years:
Unichip - An early optimization of a Volvo V70 2.5T -99 was made with help by TS-Motor. After a few complications regarding Volvo's (at that time) new throttle control (23 step instead of the old 17 step) the car's character was changed in a way that the driver experienced the engine as a large V8 instead of a hot-tempered 5 cylinder turbo.
MTE - A few years later the same car was re-tuned by MTE. At that time it was the best way of upgrading a Volvo! MTE have developed their own program for the car's own ECU and the character of the car was somewhere between a V8 and the hot-tempered turbo.
Nordic Uhr - Later on, the car changed to a SAAB 9-3 2.0T -06 and Nordic Uhr was hired to upgrade the car's engine control system. Later on a special custom-built, stainless, twin-pipe exhaust system was also installed and the engine's program was upgraded. I would think this was/is the most brutal upgrade possible for this kind of money. Not many "racers" could compete on the roads without having a fortune invested in their cars... :-)
MapTun - The SAAB 9-3 -06 was replaced by a younger model (-10) with 4WD and this time the choice of supplier of the engine control system fell on MapTun.
The 4WD in SAAB 9-3 -10 was both lovely and terrible at the same time... In my opinion the terrain capabilities were superb, but the road characteristics, when provoked, were unforgiving and unreliable. MapTun did a really good job, though, and their solution could easily be updated through Internet.
Unfortunately, this configuration never was as brutal and fun as the -06 2WD...
Customers have expressed their satisfaction regarding both lower fuel consumption and better torque on low rpm:s.
