Cameras
I get an error when trying to launch Smart Client.
Ensure that “ec-nvrmange.fjuhsd.org” is in the Computer dropdown and “Windows authentication
(current user)” is in the Authentication dropdown.
Cameras are missing from views.
If a box in a view has the district logo in it then there is no camera assigned to it. If the box is blank
then a camera is missing. Submit a ticket by emailing: chip@fjuhsd.org. Please include your site and view
name.

How do I place an external call?
To place an external call, you must dial “6” first followed by the phone number
How do I dial an internal extension?
To place an internal extension call, dial the 4-digit extension i.e. 3498
How do I place a call on hold?
Press the “Hold” soft key. The line button will flash green. To return to the call, press the “Resume” soft key.
How do I transfer a call to an extension?
During a call, press the “Trnsfr” soft key. Doing so automatically places the call on hold. Dial the extension to which you want to transfer the call. When the call rings on the other end, press “Trnsfr” soft key again – or when the party answers, announce the call and then press “Trsnfr” soft key.
How do I transfer a call to voicemail?
During a call, press the “Trnsfr” soft key. Doing so automatically places the call on hold. Press ‘*’ then the extension of the voicemail you wish to transfer to, press "Trsnfr" soft key again to transfer call to voicemail.
How do I use my voicemail?
To access voicemail on campus: Press the “Messages" button, enter your PIN and follow the recorded instructions.

To access voicemail from off campus:
Call the District information line, 714-870-2800. OR the Phone Attendant System, 714-870-2800.
Press ‘*’ during the recorded greeting.. When prompted for your ID, enter the extension, followed by your PIN.
How do I change my pin?
Access your voicemail. At the main menu select ‘4’ to enter setup options. Then select ‘3’ for preferences and follow the prompts.

How do I view my missed calls?

How do I adjust the handset volume?
Pick up your handset, press the “+” or the “-“ volume button – press the “Save” soft key to save.
How do I adjust the ringer volume?
Leave handset in the cradle, press the “+” or the “-“ volume button.
How do I reset my PIN if I forgot it?
Submit a service request through the District Helpdesk.

Why do we have a web filter?
Primarily the web filter is employed to comply with the Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA). It help to provide a more secure and stable network and it provides assistance with classroom management.
What is being blocked?
Lightspeed Relay maintains a database of websites that are categorized by content. This database is updated constantly. The policies we assign to the users block/allow websites based on these categories.
Why is Vimeo blocked?
Vimeo does not have a rating system for the videos they host. Mature content is not segregated from general content.
