Mrs. Howell grew up in Luthersville, Ga. She attended the University of Georgia from 1995-2000 earning a BSED in Science Education, while specializing in physics. Mrs. Howell began her teaching career with Fulton County in 2000. In 2005, she earned her MEd in Secondary Science Education from Georgia State University. She became a Longhorn in August of 2014. She enjoys working with the Lambert Science National Honor Society's presentations at Brookwood Elementary Science Night and coaching the building events for Science Olympiad.

Mrs. Howell is very involved in physics education. She has attended and presented at several local, state and national conferences. She is a member of the American Association of Physics Teachers. She has been involved in the scoring of AP Exams, The Reading, since 2003. While at The Reading, she has served as part of the leadership team. She earned a Noyce Master Teacher Fellowship from Kennesaw State University (a National Science Foundation Grant) in 2013, a five year commitment to promoting physics teacher education. In the fall of 2014, she was given the honor of being selected as the College Board Advisor for AP Physics 2. As CBA she serves on the AP Exam test development committee. She is also a College Board Consultant; a job that takes her all around the country to teach other teachers how to teach AP Physics.

Ms. Lang is from Woodstock, Georgia in Cherokee county. She attended Georgia Southern University from 2008-2012 earning a BA in Physics. She then attended Kennesaw State University earning her MAT in Physics. Ms. Lang began her teaching career at Cambridge High School in Fulton county and has been a member of the Longhorn nation since the fall of 2015. She is the advisor for Lambert’s National Honor Society, chess club, varsity/freshman football cheerleading, and varsity gymnastics.
