Instructors

Mrs. Howell grew up in Luthersville, Ga. She attended the University of Georgia from 1995-2000 earning a BSED in Science Education, while specializing in physics. Mrs. Howell began her teaching career with Fulton County in 2000. In 2005, she earned her MEd in Secondary Science Education from Georgia State University. She became a Longhorn in August of 2014. She enjoys coaching the building events for Science Olympiad.

Mrs. Howell is very involved in physics education. She has attended and presented at several local, state and national conferences. She is a member of the American Association of Physics Teachers. She has been involved in the scoring of AP Exams, The Reading, since 2003. While at The Reading, she has served as part of the leadership team. She is a former member of the AP Physics 2 Test Development Committee. She is also a College Board Consultant.

Ms. Lang is from Woodstock, Georgia in Cherokee county. She attended Georgia Southern University from 2008-2012 earning a BA in Physics. She then attended Kennesaw State University earning her MAT in Physics Education. Ms. Lang began her teaching career at Cambridge High School in Fulton county and has been a member of the Longhorn nation since the fall of 2015. She is the head football cheerleading coach and varsity gymnastics.

Mr. Youngblood is from Kentwood, Michigan. He attended Michigan State University where he received a Bachelors Degree in chemistry with a minor in mathematics. While working through those courses he was accepted to MSU's Education Program and became a certified teacher upon graduation. Mr. Youngblood immediately moved to Georgia and began his teaching his career at North Forsyth High School in the fall of 2007. He taught for two years at North Forsyth and then transferred to Lambert to be part of the inaugural staff in the fall of 2009. Mr. Youngblood has been primarily a chemistry teacher throughout his career, but over the last few years has starting teaching more and more physics and is excited to be part of the AP Physics Team. Mr. Youngblood is the head softball coach and the head boy's golf coach here at Lambert.
