I am thrilled to start my 5th year CRES as the teacher of the Nature Based PreK! Did you know that this is the first public, nature-based PreK in Maine? 

I taught 1st and 2nd grade years ago and spent 15 years teaching at a local preschool. My favorite part of that job was spending time outdoors, beyond the fence with preschool students. I am excited every day to go adventuring and exploring in the woods behind CRES withour group of four year olds! 

When I am not knee deep in the mud at school, I like spending time with my family and my small black dog, Moxie.  We live close enough to CRES that I can walk home through the woods.

I’m so excited for my second year with the trailblazers in our nature-based program. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and a passion for supporting young children as they learn through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences. 

I believe the outdoors offers endless opportunities for curiosity, creativity, and confidence-building. 

I love creating a nurturing and joyful environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to discover the world around them. I can’t wait for our year together.
