Sample work selected from three different learning outcomes and introductions to each.
Instructions:
Step 1) Select three examples of your coursework that represent learning in three DIFFERENT outcomes. It is suggested that this work be from the classes with the respective learning outcome designations, but, if that is not possible, then the coursework should at least meet the definition of the learning outcome it is chosen to represent. Learning outcomes represented should demonstrate a range (for instance, consider representing the humanities, STEM, and the social sciences, rather than all STEM). The choices for learning outcomes (with links to their descriptions and definitions in the textbook) are here:
Step 2) Once you have selected this coursework, write an introduction to EACH piece. Each introduction should be a minimum of 500 words (for an overall minimum of 1500 words). These introductions should reflect on how the work demonstrates the learning outcome it is chosen to represent. Some ideas for emphases of the introductions (you are not limited to these):
the learning journey (perhaps something you have learned since completing this piece or even the struggle to acquire this learning)
the learning outcomes of the course in which the work was completed
connections to other learning outcomes or work in major
how the work could be revised/added to in order to further illustrate its learning outcome
Step 3) Turn in Three Annotated Pieces (all of the coursework examples and introductions) on Google Classroom.
