6th grade will use the reading curriculum series titled Journeys.  Each week we will focus on a new reading story. Within the story, the students will learn how to use various reading skills and strategies to advance their reading and grow as readers. Students learn to set and achieve goals in 6th Grade with the implementation of AR (Accelerated Reading).

In 6th Grade, we learn all about Ancient Civilizations! We are excited to implement Studies Weekly in the classroom! 6th graders can look forward to digging deep into various texts, research projects, note-taking, and hands-on activities.
