Our Little Free Library

Our Little Free Library is located in front of Fisher Jr/Sr High School by the sidewalk. It was designed and built by students from Mr. Chittick’s classes.

Little Free Libraries work on the Take a Book-Share a Book method. Anyone may take a book from a Little Free Library. When you take a book, we ask that you return it when you are done or donate another book in its place. If you don’t have a book to donate, take one anyway! If you want to keep it, that’s fine.

The library’s books are appropriate for kindergarteners to seniors in high school. We request that people don’t put books for adults in this particular Little Free Library. The website https://littlefreelibrary.org/ has a map with locations of libraries near us and all over the world. Please go looking for other Little Free libraries to find more books!

Fisher Jr/Sr High School students and the Fisher staff can borrow E-books  and E-audiobooks through the Illinois Heartland Library System consortium and the Cloud Library App. Look under Useful Links to get started.  You will  need your library card number and you will need your Share website password which was set up previously. Late books and fines will block the app from working. If you have any problems with using ebooks or any questions, please see Mrs. Friedlein for help.
