SECON '18

The second national conference in the series on National Conference on Structural Engineering and Construction Management, SECON '18 was conducted on 17 and 18 April 2018. The conference was inaugurated by Dr. Katta Venkataramana, Professor in Civil Engineering, NIT, Suratkal . The two day conference was attended by 61 delegates. A total of 54 papers were accepted from 102 abstracts received.

The main themes included Prefabricated Structures, Non Destructive Testing, Analysis and Design of Steel & Concrete Structures, Numerical Modelling and simulation in Structural Engineering, Construction Methods, Materials & Sustainability, Construction Safety and Management, Construction Planning, Scheduling and Control.

Keynote lectures were delivered by eminent faculty from academia including
