Federal Institute of Science And Technology (FISAT) has a unique position in the Professional Education Sector in Kerala. With the motto ‘Focus on Excellence’, FISAT has been designed and developed to become a CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE in professional education. Established in the year 2002, the college has carved a niche for itself in the education world, eloquently demonstrated by the flying colors attained by its students in academics, placements as well as extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. FISAT has embarked on an ambitious plan to enhance the quality and value of education and develop high quality individuals with social commitment. In recognition to the Institute’s academic excellence and overall growth, FISAT has been accredited with ‘A’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2016.

FISAT is affiliated to Kerala Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram, and Mahatma Gandhi University Kerala and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

About the Department

Department of Civil Engineering was established in the year 2011. The department offers B.Tech program in Civil Engineering and M.Tech program in Structural Engineering and Construction Management. The annual intake for B.Tech course is 120 & for M.Tech course is 24. The department has a competent and committed faculty team to encourage students’ involvements in various co-curricular activities along with their academics. The department has excellent laboratories to cater to both U.G and PG programmes.
