FISAT
Federal Institute of Science And Technology (FISAT) is a private self financing Engineering College, established and run by the Federal Bank Officers` Association Educational Society (FBOAES). FISAT has a unique position in the Professional Education Sector in South India and has designed itself to work with the motto "Focus on Excellence" to carve a niche for itself in the education world, eloquently demonstrated by the flying colors attained by its students. FISAT is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Kerala Technological University (APJAKTU), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The college offers Seven B.Tech programs, Six M.Tech programs, an MCA program and a MBA Programme.
In recognition of the Institute’s academic excellence and overall growth, FISAT has been accredited with ‘A+’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and five undergraduate programs are accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). Department of Computer Applications
Established in the year 2006, the Department of Computer Applications is currently offering a professional two-year PG Programme in Computer Applications with an annual intake of 120. The MCA programme at FISAT is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and is recognized by AICTE. The department aims to achieve academic excellence by focusing on the key activities like providing quality education to students, enhancing their learning skills and giving them training to acquire the professional skills required for their career with an objective of making them socially committed professionals.
