Feilding Intermediate has a proud tradition of excellence in sports – across a range of codes. We have large numbers of children participating in sports teams, and are able to cater for differing levels of ability, experience and competitiveness. We have dedicated staff who provide coaching and support, as well as many parents who volunteer as coaches and managers. All students are involved in a comprehensive health and physical education programme, and participate in school wide events including Cross Country, Athletics and Swimming. There are also regular opportunities to compete against other classes, and sometimes even the staff! Feilding Intermediate also participates in the Super Sport competition, which enables selected teams to compete against other regional Intermediates, for highly sought after “Super Sport Champion” banners. We are current Supersport champions for Year 7 and 8 Netball, and girls Cross Country.
