How To Help Out 

The murder of Masha Amini for not wearing her hijab has sparked mass protests in Iran and across the globe. Women should not have their bodies policed and the choice to wear or not wear the hijab is a focus of these protests, among many other issues concerning women's rights. The government has begun to blame these protests and civil unrest solely on Kurdish people (as Masha Amini was Kurdish). The death toll of Protesters is only rising and the Iranian government has been cutting off access to social media in order to try and silence these protests, they need our help, and here is how you can help them:

1.) Educate yourself -here is a briefing on the conflict in Iran 

2.) Donate

•  Donate to NCRI Women's Committee -an organization that helps Iranian women from outside Iran. Learn more about NCRI Women's Committee here 

• Donate to United for Iran - a nonprofit organization based in California focusing on improving women's rights in Iran. Learn more here. 

3.) Educate others! Post about it on social media, boost the voices of Iranian women risking their lives to get information out of the country,  and use the hashtags; #MahsaAmini, #ZhinaAmini, #JinaAmini, and #IranProtests when posting. Creators to Listen to, Nazanin Nour, and Tik Tok user under the name @tytysplanett.
